Thanks for the comment Gene... I would think it is possible to take care of both. Why not simply ditch the bullpen and create an open, inviting shared workspace? You could still retain the private locked offices for the agents that need them. Do you really get a lot of use out of the bullpen? The other plus is the opened shared space can be used by the community, if you let them. Why not invite a Toastmasters group to use the space? Who knows, one of them may need an agent one day...

Thanks for the wrap up on co-working space. Sorry to have missed it. I wonder how you create co-work space in a brokerage that has a wide age range of agents. A lot of 50+ people are offIce oriented verses 20-something's who embrace mobile and minimalism.

Thanks for the comment Randy.

One way to look at it is because we are employed by Chicago Title, it is our job to do what Joy did. That is, minimize liability for the company by being diligent in our work.

The $1000 reward is just one way our company recognizes success by its employees...

Great article/post! My only comment is that for Joy's diligence in saving the company $800,000 or more, doesn't $1,000 seem a bit trivial in the way of a 'reward' for a job well done? Just sayin...
